BC Junior Girls Basketball

At the 2012 AGM it was decided that next years tournament will once again be hosted by Brookswood and the Langley Events Centre.  It was also decided to change the length of the tournament from a 3 day format to a 4 day format as is the AAA Senior Girls tournament.  Next years tournament will be held from March 6th to 9th, 2013.

The B.C. Junior Girls Basketball Association Annual General Meeting will be held Saturday, March 9th, 2013 starting at 8:15 a.m. at the Langley Events Centre in meeting room "A". (4th floor of the LEC arena)

A meeting agenda and related information will be included in the tournament registration information.

The 2012 TELUS Junior Girls Basketball Provincial Champions this year are the Oak Bay Breakers who won a hotly contested game against the South Kamloops Titans.  The game could have gone either way but in the last minute the Breakers hit a key basket to give them the slim lead which they held eventually winning the game 47-41.  Congratulations to both teams for a great game.  Congratulations to the the hosts, Brookswood and the Langley Events Centre, for putting on a first class tournament.
